inside maths events INCLUDE:
- Engaging, interactive talks from top maths speakers, in theatres and other cultural venues.
- Students see the value (some links to real life, careers or other areas of study) and the joy of maths.
- Some student activity – for short theatre shows this will over a break where students eg explore maths games, or solve problems.
- Follow-up activities for students and electronic classroom resources for teachers.
- Inspiration for students with potential (see FAQs about who to bring).

LEEDS (NOV 2026): Inside Maths is coming to Leeds City Varieties theatre on Wednesday 11 November 2026!
AM Show: 10am – 11:50am, for year 7 and 8 students.
PM Show: 12:30pm – 2:20pm, for year 5 and 6 students.
Speakers: Zoe Griffiths, Andrew Jeffrey and Ben Sparks.
LONDON (2027): Inside Maths is likely to run event(s) in London in Spring/Summer 2027. All info coming soon.
WHO WE ARE:
Inside Maths shows are interactive, engaging, maths enrichment events (half day shows or full day events) for year 5-8 students and their teachers.
Inside Maths is the brain child of maths communicator Zoe Griffiths. Inside Maths is run through Think Maths (Zoe’s main organisation).
Zoe has spent many years working on maths events aimed at older secondary students (such as Maths Inspiration and Maths Fest). Zoe realised that the ‘middle school years’ (years 5-8) students were missing out, and so created Inside Maths!
